I got the 3.75 inch figures so they would fit into the 1:12 scale diorama I am planning. The detail is very good, and they are fairly flexible for posing. I only wish the whole troop of (13) Dwarves could be purchased, either together or, better, individually.
Also, I ordered mine early on, almost as soon as I could find them, so the price was very reasonable (around $18). Since then the prices for these figures has gone up wildly. I would probably NOT buy them at today's prices ($37-$60).

Detailed and well liked by my son. A couple of them don't stand up but we like them anyway. The hobbit is an all time favorite movie, book and the characters are an addiction.
