Before we go explaining about how awesome the figure is let me explain some basic stuff.

The reason this figure is called "type 2" is because this version of Zero design is base from the game "Megaman X2 and onward(except MMX8) while the previews Zero figure version 1 was base on the game "Megaman X1". However let me point out that while people say this been base from the MMX2 game, design wise it is, But in reality this one would be more base from the game "Megaman X3" because of the Zero Buster it brings. The Zero Buster from MMX2 and MMX3 are different in design in game and there official artwork from there respective games confirms this. so technically this figure is more to MMX3 than MMX2, and even that the figure itself is base more to the game "Megaman X6" because the figure itself is missing a white collar piece on the base of the neck but which sometimes in different artworks it shows that he has it or not. you can see the white collar on the base of Zero's neck... Zero comes with loose shoulder joints and a top heavy saber. It was broken at the hilt on arrival. So I got it replaced. The second one is a lit better, but it had a tight left shoulder, where it rotates. Had to work it gently back and forth to loosen it up. Otherwise it would have snapped off. For an action figure that is just supposed to work, these d-arts have given me more trouble than most model kits have. At least they look completely accurate, and you really can't get a better looking Mega Man figure anywhere else. Even if they do have multiple manufacturer defects.

And I can't explain how well this figure was put together. Comparing this dx version to any other is just a waste of time, since this version will come out on top. The accessories he come with(three swords, multiple hands) are compatible with other megaman x d-arts figures to recreate any scene from the game itself! The only downside I see is how since they put so much detail, from his armor to the paint, that it is quite easily dispainted or broken. Hopefully this will happen to none of us but here's far warning, it can only take so much force.
Overall, this figure is great for any fan of Zero and anyone who already owns the other megaman x counterparts since you can now put his famous z-saber on all of them. Yes it is a little pricey for a 5 inch figure, but it's worth it just to see how far these figures have come. Seriously, google the older megaman x toys for a good laugh once you get this masterpiece.
