I had very high hopes for this figure and sadly it fell short.My one major gripe with this figure is that his cape is no longer articulated at all. And this impedes his range of motion greatly. This figure is taller than the previous Batman figures. Not sure why they did this but I figured I would mention it. They used the same hands and feet from the previous series one AA Batman... Way to go cheap on us. I have a very high attention to detail. In AA there is a strap that runs down the top of his shoe part of his boot. In AC he no longer has this strap. Because they recycled the feet from the AA Batman, this figure is not 100% accurate. Speaking of accuracy, his cape and cowl are a bit too blue and his gloves are way too gray when they should be black. The main body of his suit is almost a flat gray as well and is lacking details and... Read more  Great Batman, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Square Enix Batman Arkham City: Play Arts Kai Batman Action Figure (Toy) Ok, I got this figure 2 days ago and it looks fantastic. The details on it are really remarkable. Now two friends of mine own each one of the previously released version of the Play arts Batman's, Armored Batman and the other Arkham Asylum Batman. So we decided to compare them to see which one looked better. First thing we notice was that this figure for some reason it look taller than the other two. Plus this Batman in terms body shape it look a little more buff than the asylum version. Personally i think it was because this Batman overall had a better paint job than the asylum version. Now that does not means it didin't had flaws which i will point out at the end of this review.This figure does the legend justice nice articulations with a interchangeable head, hands, a batarang and grapple gun. Is really well painted the cowl and neck area have this really nice dark blue which looks awesome. The top of the cape starts with the same dark blue and it goes a bit lighter on... A most have for every Arkham City or Batman fan. |
