The cards are great and the card game launches in Feb '13. Almost every Power Rangers Megaforce toy comes with power cards, which you can then put into the morpher, and the morpher will then say a phrase matching the card. There are over 180 phrases. For example, if I put in the card labeled "SPD Red Ranger", The morpher will then say "SPD, Red!". it's loads of fun, and kids can be even more cards when the card game is released in February of 2013. Kids will LOVE, I repeat LOVE this toy. That was the part of the review meant for parents. Here is the collector review. Now, I do not own the Tensouder. but I can say that from what I've seen and heard, this is basically just an American version. the only physical difference is plastic quality, and a small size difference, mostly thickness... The quality was poor. Functionality was removed from earlier Japanese incarnations of the toy to save a buck or two. Things were pretty much useless. It looks like that is the Bandai of yesteryear. This toy is absolutely fantastic. Over 180 saying which is unheard of for a power rangers toy. The paint, the plastic quality, the LED light, the voice, the functionality is all there. Not to mention it's a perfect representation of the morpher in the show. You cannot ask for more than that. If you are half a power rangers ran you need to pick this up to see how toys SHOULD be done. |
